Reviews
I never write reviews but I'd wanted to say as I'm eating the food now the pork meat looks old and black. the rice has no flavour and the taste is boring.do yourself a favour and order from another Chinese restaurant nearby where you pay and are satisfied after you eat it.ill never go again got me last time as well should have learnt.
A pretty nice Chinese restaurant in Strathfield. The staff are friendly and hospitable. However, I wouldn’t say it’s the most authentic Asian restaurant - not that this is any indication, but I think we were the only Chinese people dining in the restaurant. The food was quite basic and not very flavoursome. However, it was still good enough.
The restaurant was quite beautifully decorated, I liked the art and the instruments hanging on the wall.
The spring rolls were decent - enjoyed them! The fried rice was also quite good - not super flavoursome. We also got the fried noodles with the seafood - this wasn’t very special, the noodles seemed to just be packaged noodles and the seafood and veggies were just steamed. The duck was decent - a little tough but overall good flavour. The fried tofu - this was very nice, more on the salty side, but quite enjoyable with the textures and tastes. The fried ice cream was nice too - can’t go wrong.
I liked that they also gave us fortune crackers. The service was decent. I’d recommend trying this place for yourself, but it was a bit on the fence for me.
We've been to this restaurant for the past 20 years and we still go back whenever we get the chance. Ask for the sizzling chicken with peaking sauce. It's not on the menu but has the same taste no matter how many times management or the chefs have changed. Definitely recommend with the vegetarian fried rice and vegetarian spring rolls as entree. We rocked up with 15 mins left till kitchen close and they still catered for us and their customer service was immaculate. Will definitely recommend this place for local Chinese!!
Well yesterday we ordered a bunch of food and sorry to say it was atrocious. ( delivery) The special fried rice was dry, honey prawn was dry, beef in black bean was tasteless, sweet and sour pork was chewy. Only thing that was eatable was chicken in plum sauce. I normally order from this restaurant and it has been good but this time it was shocking, couldn’t even eat the honey prawns because it was chewy. The worst part is we pay top dollar for the food, over 100 dollars. It look taste and look like old stock.
Pick up your game, can fool some people some times, but you can’t fool all the people all the time. Question I ask is would the restaurant people eat what they served me, I bet not.
Amazing service and well priced. The staff were very attentive and so helpful. Even with kids, the staff were very understanding and made me feed very comfortable. And the food, WOW, food was really good! We had a range of dishes, would be going again to try more dishes.
Been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years food has been great I'm sure I gave this place a 5 star review about 1 years ago have to say the food today was horrible
Hopefully the chef was on holidays and hasn't gone for good...
Il give it another go in a few months hopefully it's back to the great food I have had in the previous times I have been
I've been here countless times. Always quality food. I always think the portions won't be enough but I always leave full. Great atmosphere and service. The food hasn't been coming out as quick as before. But they're trialling a new QR system to make ordering easier.
Crowd pleaser. Good serving sizes and quality ingredients. This venue is more of a traditional "Australian" Chinese restaurant, good Mongolian Beef, sweet and sour pork etc. Safe bet for fussy eaters but also lacking on the spice front.
